When a residence card is approaching its expiry date, the next procedure should not automatically be treated as a repetition of the previous one. Employment, family circumstances, business activity or the client’s longer-term plans may have changed since the last decision.
The current basis of stay should be reviewed again
The fact that a permit was granted previously does not mean that the same basis or documentation remains appropriate. The client’s present circumstances should be assessed before the next application is prepared.
Changes since the previous decision matter
A new employer, different employment conditions, changes in family life or a new passport may affect the preparation of the next case. These issues are easier to address before the current document expires.
We prepare the next procedure around the current situation
TRC Poland Law & Immigration reviews the existing decision, current documents and plans for the next period of stay before determining the appropriate residence route.
This material is general in nature and does not replace an assessment of an individual case. In residence and employment matters, the relevant documents, previous course of proceedings and the client’s circumstances may affect the appropriate legal and procedural approach.
